We would definitely go back, the venue met the purpose. The breakfast is very good, and the location is FAVOURABLE very close to grocery store and the slope of the roof and Poland. Having a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe in our clean and huge room.

The rooms were new-fashioned, well-organised, and had a mini bar fridge, a sitting area, and a writing table. Our location was magnificent and ideal, next to a bus stop.

The room was massive and had plenty of space, which was awesome. the location was fantastic, with Alsace just a stone's throw away to the West, a drug store nearby, and being close to a conference center in Freiburg. the staff were super welcoming and friendly 😊.

Large comfortable room and decent food.
Not close to the city center, it is not walkable.

Lovely big room. Air conditioning on low was very quiet and worked well in the very hot weather. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great, including smoked salmon, nuts, lovely bread.
The restaurant didn't have many vegetarian options (though no worse than most in Germany). In the bathroom the shampoo and soap came in little sachets which is wasteful and bad for the environment, and it also meant we ran out when we didn't want the room cleaned every day. There was no notice about reusing our towels to save energy.

Particularly good location in the pretty nice area and it was a bonus to be next to a bus station.

Comfortable venue with friendly and knowledgeable staff, conveniently located near restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, as well as within a short walk to an indoor playground.

I recently stayed at Hotel Zum Schiff for a night while traveling from The Netherlands to Italy. The room was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. One of the highlights was the free underground parking, which was especially convenient for me as I had my motorcycle with me. The receptionists were helpful and quick during check-in and check-out. Additionally, the hotel's location was great, with a lovely bakery just across the street.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The comfort of the queen room was impressive, with a marvelous and unbeatable location in a predominantly residential area set within a traditional-style building.

The rooms at Zum Schiff are spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable stay. The restaurant serves outstanding food, with the salads being particularly impressive. The hotel also offers a no-smoking bar, which is a great plus. Additionally, the location is convenient, with the thermal pool at Keidel Bad just a five-minute drive away. Despite a minor issue with the air conditioning and hot water, the staff were apologetic and even offered a complimentary bottle of wine. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location, nestled under the slope of the roof in the outskirts of Freiburg, gave it a charming and cozy feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and I particularly appreciated the extra bed provided for my daughter. The breakfast was simply amazing, with a great selection of delicious food to start the day off right.
All was great, no complaints.
